Preparing is everyone's job. In times of disasters, you have a responsibility to protect yourself and your family. During the first few hours or days after a disaster, essential services may not be available and emergency workers may be scarce. Disasters are unpredictable and it's important to be prepared and have the right supplies.
In order to prepare for natural or man-made disasters and emergencies, Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) urges all staff to review their family emergency action plan, update family emergency kits, and take other steps to ensure they are prepared for all situations of emergency.
